Caloocan, Philippines – December 2023 – The holiday season became a beacon of hope and generosity in Caloocan City as RSI NGD Group, alongside its StreetABCs Initiative by SkinABCs Philippines and the Filipino Resilience Organization, participated in a Christmas outreach program dedicated to supporting solo parents and their children. Held on December 21, 2023, and organized by the Fraternal Order of Eagles - Philippine Eagles, the event titled "2023 Yearend Gift Giving for the Benefit of Solo Parents’ Children" showcased the power of corporate outreach and community collaboration.
The outreach program was a collaborative effort involving multiple organizations, including Centurion Eagles Region XXIX, DZRH Operation Tulong, Rotary Club of Malate Prime, Children’s Hope Foundation, Q Asia Magazine, and the National Council for Solo Parents (NCSP). The event brought together C-level executives, all members of The Fraternal Order of Eagles - Philippine Eagles, to make a tangible difference in the lives of more than fifty solo parents and their children. Among these distinguished leaders was Mr. A.R. Sy, CEO of RSI NGD Group and President of SkinABCs Philippines, whose presence and contributions reflected his deep commitment to corporate social responsibility and humanitarian action.
The event was marked by a wide array of contributions from sponsors and members of the Philippine Eagles. These included food donations, children’s bags, medical check-ups, unlimited ice cream for kids, skincare products, entrepreneurial training, and entertainment provided by clowns. Each offering was carefully selected to create a festive and supportive environment, ensuring that the solo parents and their children not only received essential support but also experienced the joy and warmth of the holiday season.
Notable attendees and organizers played crucial roles in the success of the event. Among them were Production Company President and Philippine Eagles Club President Ryan Ramos, Q Asia President and Philippine Eagles Club Vice President Andrew Ramirez, Happy Franchising Company President Karl Landicho, National Council for Solo Parents Secretary General Red De Guzman, Medical Doctor Vic Belarmino, Centurion Regional Governor Dennis Chatto, and Queen V Fragrance CEO June Viray. Their collective efforts and leadership underscored the importance of corporate and community partnerships in addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.
The solo parents, moved by the generosity and support they received, expressed their gratitude through a heartfelt performance. This act of appreciation highlighted the profound impact that the event had on their lives, reinforcing the value of such initiatives in fostering a sense of community and belonging. The event concluded with the Centurion Eagles Region XXIX's Christmas Party, where discussions about future outreach programs took place, signaling the group’s ongoing dedication to community support and engagement.
This successful event not only brought much-needed assistance and joy to solo parents and their children but also reinforced RSI NGD Group's unwavering commitment to corporate sustainability and community involvement.
